Cafe Meets Bistro

This sushi cafe is a contemporary cross over between bistro and cafe, and offers dine in, take out, catering, and private events. There is indoor and outdoor seating featuring a retractable wall to combine the dining “rooms”.

Tradition & Innovation

All of the food is made daily, in house. The specific dishes feature traditional Maki, Uramaki, Nigiri, and Sashimi with a modern American twist. Every single dish is prepared fresh and the chefs selections innovative.

A Seat in the Community

This cafe strives to strengthen the local creative community. It is a social hub for creatives in multiple disciplines, holding regular poetry reads, book clubs, art sales, and open mic nights for musicians or for stand up comedy.

Brand Story

This sushi cafe strives to preserve and strengthen its community by creating a space for local creators and social groups; a seat for young musicians, artists, and a gathering place for all.

Started by a young chef and his wife to pay tribute to their heritage while they themselves striving to innovate with unique flavors. Once a sole food truck, now a sushi cafe.

The Shio Lounge is a living and thriving business that stands for paying homage to tradition but encourages innovation and creativity. They take traditional dishes in the art of sushi and put a special twist on them. It is important to the Shio Lounge that the community feels welcome to enter and gather here to socialize and create.

Mural Menu

To help create a more open feeling, the menu will be a painted mural that guests will see as they walk in the front door. The menu is simple, easy to use and creates the feelings open and inviting. The mural artist will be commissioned from a local artists.

This infographic is not about how to make sushi, but how the Shio Lounge will serve the customers. This inforgraphic dives into what makes the Shio Lounge unique not only in it’s cuisine, but also in it’s mission.

Ready Made & To Go Rolls

This box has been designed to be used for rolls that are ready made for on the go or for take out pre-ordered rolls. These are made for individual rolls.

This box features an outer and inner sleeves with four mix and match designs, a label sticker for ready made rolls, loops meant to both keep the inside sleeve in place as well as store chopsticks that can double as a handle if needed.

Carry Out

This bag is made for to go pre-orders. It has been designed to both advertise for the Shio Lounge and be able to hold multiple of the To Go Boxes.

It features rope handles and a large sticker to ensure that the bag stays closed and maintains deliciousness.

 

Take Home

This box is for guest who are dining in house to take home any left overs they may have. It can be used for anything that the Shio Loung offers on their menu from classic rolls to Don Buri.

This box features a panels closure that twists to close, rope handles, and a sticker to ensure closure.
