About Shiney

Shiney Hanny is a visual artist who is a born and raised Utahn.

Shiney’s design specialties are Logo & Visual Identity Design, Hand Lettering, and Illustration. She continues to expand her skillset and has been exploring Brand Animation and Motion Design.

Her fine arts practice includes various areas of printmaking such as Relief Printing and Silk Screen, and book binding as an art. She is deeply inspired by themes of spirituality, growth, family connection, and genealogy and seeks to continue those themes in her fine arts practice.

Shiney attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah where she received her B.F.A. in Graphic Design where she served as President of Weber State’s Chapter of AIGA.

Her hobbies include playing board games, spending time performing in local community theater, and volunteering as an Assistant Director and Choreographer for the Oquirrh Mountain Youth Theater and Counterpoint Show Choir.
